Product / Material Upscaling

Generate higher-resolution PBR maps for closer shots

Start at the base 1024 by 1024 resolution while finding the right surface. When the prompt and pattern work, paid plans can generate at 2x or 4x for assets that need more texel detail.

Use resolution where the camera can see it

Higher resolution is useful when a material fills the frame, covers a large surface, or needs a tighter crop. It does not fix a weak prompt, incorrect scale, or a visible tiling artifact.

01

Iterate at 1x

Use one credit per base generation while testing material type, pattern, color, wear, and finish.

02

Move to 2x for detail

A 2x generation costs two credits and gives the surface more room for fine texture detail.

03

Reserve 4x for close work

A 4x generation costs four credits. Use it after the material direction is approved and the shot benefits from the added resolution.

Materials with fine surface detail

Fine scratches, grain, pores, and layered wear are good candidates for higher-resolution output when they will be visible in the final frame.
